What do children learn from animals?

The relationship between humans and companion pets started for many years when it started and the domestication. Children especially love animals. The motivation of children to acquire an animal likely to be the company and the game. The game is the best form of learning for children and one of their basic needs. But the benefits of getting a child from this symbiosis is a multiple psychosocial level.Children who have pets have a chance to learn, to develop their emotional intelligence, for developing a sense of responsibility and more exercise.

Also it has been observed that they have more confidence and feelings of social responsibility.Children learn about the feelings of others and for their own means of interaction. A key feature of emotional intelligence but according to Goleman is "Empathy" ie the person's ability to perceive and understand the feelings of the other. The dog is an animal because much communication offers an excellent opportunity for the development of 'Empathy' the child. Of course in this learning process is very important the role of parents.Empathy helps the person in the delineation of his own behavior recognizing and respecting each other's needs. Animals accompany man in his solitude. According to scientific studies , the therapeutic contribution of animals, pet children,problems: nosologically,emotional and behavior anektimiti.I childhood cruelty towards animals portends adult aggression and crime. One of the worst things that can happen to a child in relation to subsequent adult life , is to torture or kill an animal and not has synepeies.I child crime against animals is an indicator of how your child will develop later as an adult. Learning from early in the child respect for animals, We offer them a valuable asset for a proper course of conduct against "Violence".

In conclusion we could say that through pet grown children the values ​​of humanism, ecological awareness, the moral responsibility of altruism. All the above are only some of the benefits of children's cohabitation with a pet. Parents play an important role in the success of this process. The choice of the animal, to protect children from infections that likely can suffer from these, the age of the children , space which have as , the willingness and participation of parents themselves in the care of these are factors that should take into account the parents before the decision to acquire an animal at home.
